Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Poverty. It's actually not as crazy as it sounds, Kling is really just talking about shifting people in poverty from 3rd world countries, where poverty is a terrible thing, to rich countries, where it's a relative situation.

Annoyance

Sometimes I think people write things just to make me upset. To wit, this piece on "The Traveler's Dilemna". 2 is not the logical choice! It's a logical choice, in that I see the logic of it, but it is not the logical choice. I love it when people try to assail logic who have no understanding of logic (heavy sarcasm).

It's Global

So, I've been derelict in my posting. Sorry. Not going to promise to do better.
Anyway, please read these: Newmark, and Coyote. Despite what people tell you, the science isn't "settled". It needs to be taken seriously, but people who tell you the all scientists agree, or that it's a fact, or whatever, are selling something. The 90% certainty given with the last UN report was a political number, not a scientific one.
